NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — This weekend is jam packed with events in downtown Nashville. News 2 has put together an event traffic survival guide to make getting to all the fun less stressful.

Plan on staying away from the 5th Avenue South and Broadway intersection as it will be closed starting Friday with the Predators season opener until Sunday due to back to back nights of Adele taking the stage at Bridgestone Arena.

1st Avenue South and Korean Veterans Boulevard is another intersection to steer clear of starting Friday since as Chris Stapleton plays at Ascend Amphitheater both Friday and Saturday.

The westbound right lane on Korean Veterans Boulevard will be open for traffic dropping off and picking up any concert goers.

That’s where you will be able to find your taxi, Uber, Lyft or any other ride sharing services.

Ascend Amphitheater has a special deal for first time Uber users. Punch in the code “ASCENDNAS” into the app to get $20 off of your ride.

Our biggest suggestion for parking is if you don’t live near downtown Nashville, you’ll want to drive to the outskirts of West End, Germantown, maybe even east Nashville to park your car and from there take an Uber, Lyft or taxi.

You can also watch out for the free golf carts that are always ready to take you right into the action of downtown Nashville.

Stay safe this weekend and have fun!
