Ky. man, 19, arrested after infant suffered ‘serious physical injuries’

PADUCAH, Ky. (WKRN) – A 19-year-old Kentucky man was arrested after an infant was taken to a Paducah hospital with “serious physical injuries.”

Family services contacted Kentucky State Police to investigate, which determined the injuries were caused by physical abuse.

The six-month-old child’s father, Johnny Arnold III, was arrested and chargd with first-degree criminal abuse for a victim under 12 years old, a class C felony.

Arnold, 19, was booked into the Marshall County jail.

The baby was flown to Kosair’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville for treatment. An update wasn’t immediately known.
