NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Nashville family that met Adele last year was expecting to get tickets to her Bridgestone Arena show this weekend.

But as the concert nears, the chances are fading.

Howard and Leslie Kirshner, their daughter Jamie, and her friend Brady saw Adele at a London restaurant last year while on vacation.

The group took pictures with the Grammy-winning pop superstar and mentioned that tickets to her Nashville shows were sold out. Before she left, Adele got the Kirshners’ contact information and said she’d send them tickets.

A few weeks later, Adele appeared on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on CBS.

She told the host a recent story about how she’d met the Nashville family after having a few glasses of wine.

“The next day in the park, I find this email address in my pocket of another family, from Nashville, who told me the show was sold out,” Adele told Corden. “So, I got their email address to give them tickets to Nashville.”

When News 2 interviewed the family back in January, they were optimistic they’d be contacted about the tickets.

But nine months later, still no tickets.

“We still haven’t received any tickets,” said Leslie. “We’re so disappointed because we’re such big fans and would love to see her show.”

The Kirshners have kept their weekend open just in case.

They’ve also been checking their email and phones every day.
