NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Titans will face Browns rookie quarterback Cody Kessler Sunday at Nissan Stadium.
Kessler was officially named the Browns starter after completing practice Thursday.
Kessler was unable to finish his start last Sunday against New England after he suffered an injury to his rib and chest.
It will be the fourth start for the Browns third round pick and maybe not the best for a hurting quarterback.
The Titans are coming off a six sack performance in their win in Miami.
Kessler says he’s feeling better, but does still have some discomfort when he throws.
He’ll be backed up by either Josh McCown or rookie Kevin Hogan. McCown returned to practice this week after breaking his collarbone in Week 2.
