Man wanted for recent car burglaries in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Clarksville police are searching for a man they say is responsible for multiple recent vehicle burglaries.

It happened early Monday between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. in a parking lot beside West Side Auto Body on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

According to a release from police, the unidentified man walked behind the business, got a brick and used it to break a driver’s side vehicle.

The suspect, according to police, searched the car and its trunk but did not take anything. The man then searched an unlocked vehicle and took some clothing.

Police said the man returned the brick back behind the business, took off some of his clothes, put on some of the stolen clothes and then put his clothes back on before fleeing.
