Eagleville teacher accused of taking prescription meds from nurse’s office

EAGLEVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – An elementary teacher at Eagleville Schoo accused of taking prescription medicine from the nurse’s office has been suspended.

Jessica Holland, 34, is charged with theft under $500 and possession of a Schedule II narcotic.

She has been an employee with the district since 2014 and does not have any prior disciplinary occurrences.

Her suspension without pay is effective immediately.

She has since been released on a $4,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
