WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – A controlled burn got out of control early Tuesday evening in Wilson County.

It happened off Beckwith Road near Central Pike, not too far from Interstate 40.

The flames were quickly under control and no person or structure was injured or damaged.

The incident comes as cities in Middle Tennessee are banning open burning due to the lack of rain across the region. Spring Hill, Murfreesboro, La Vergne, and Rutherford County have all enacted bans so far.
