NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – As of Thursday afternoon the Tennessee Titans are still scheduled to play the Dolphins in Miami Sunday at noon.
Titans head coach Mike Mularkey said Wednesday the team expected a decision by Thursday, but that has not come.
The league did put out a statement through spokesperson Natalie Ravitz, saying, “We are in close contact with local and state authorities about the hurricane. As always, our overriding concern is for public safety and not doing anything that will divert important resources away from communities that may be in distress. Consistent with that, we conducting contingency planning for Sunday’s Tennessee at Miami game as well as Monday’s Tampa Bay at Carolina game.”
Mularkey continued to say Thursday his team will be prepared no matter where the game is.
When asked what his preference was, he quickly said he would like to see it played right here in Nashville.
