NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Several flights out of Nashville to south Florida are cancelled as Hurricane Matthew approaches the eastern coast.
As of 11:40 a.m. Thursday there were six canceled flights from Nashville International to Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Check FlyNashville.com for the latest from the Nashville International Airport.
More than 2,500 flights nationwide are cancelled because of Hurricane Matthew’s projected path to the East Coast.
The storm has strengthened over the last 24 hours and became a Category 4 hurricane late Thursday morning as it marched toward Florida. Click here for LIVE tracker.
Miami International Airport also ceased all operations at 11 a.m. Central on Thursday.
