Man arrested after shooting in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police in Clarksville arrested a man in connection with a shooting on Tuesday.

According to a release from the Clarksville Police Department, officers responded to a shots fired call on Donna Drive at 6:30 p.m.

The incident began with an altercation between two men. The situation escalated when James Shadowens IV shot the other man in the leg, according to police.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Shadowens was booked into the Montgomery County jail and charged with aggravated assault.
