FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police say over 20 cars and trucks were burglarized recently within a subdivision in Fayetteville.
Authorities responded to the unspecified area on the morning of Sept. 29, 2016.
One of the cars involved belonged to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. A gun, tactical vest and other law enforcement related items were reported stolen.
According to a press release, several of the victims also reported money was missing from their own cars.
Police say some of the vehicles were unlocked, but some had a window broken during the burglaries.
A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for any information leading to an arrest in these cases. Anyone with information can contact the Fayetteville Police Department at 931-438-7771 or Crime Stoppers at 931-433-STOP.
