TOWNVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Jacob Hall, the six-year-old who died in the hospital following a shooting at Townville Elementary last week, will be laid to rest Wednesday.

According to his mother, Renae Hall, Jacob will have a superhero funeral.

The young boy died Saturday, several days after he was shot by a teen who also injured another student and teacher at the school.

Jacob loved superheroes and his uncles and brothers, who will be pallbearers for the funeral, will dress up in superhero outfits.

The boy’s parents are asking that anyone who attends the funeral dress up as their favorite superhero.

Before the funeral, there will be visitation for friends and family on Tuesday at Oakdale Baptist Church from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Classes will resume Thursday at the school, the day after the funeral.
