Missing Murfreesboro man with dementia found safe

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – A missing Murfreesboro man who suffers from dementia was found safe Sunday afternoon.

Officials told News 2 that 73-year-old Clark Dale Sheppard was located around 12:30 p.m.

A Silver Alert was issued for Sheppard Sunday morning after he reportedly climbed out of the window of Creekside Villas Assisted Living Facility on Ashers Fork Road around 1 a.m.

Facility employees noticed he was gone an hour later.

Sheppard suffers from dementia, high blood pressure and has a heart condition.

No details were released on how or where he was found.
