BEDFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man accused of shooting at several churches in the area.

Police say Wendell Buchanan, 36, shot at Horse Mountain Church of Christ at least three times. He’s also accused of doing the same thing to at least two other churches.

Buchanan was taken into custody Saturday night after someone called police to report another shooting at Horse Mountain Church of Christ.

The person gave authorities a description of the suspect’s car, and officials say they found Buchanan in that car a short time later.

He was booked into the Bedford County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
