NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was stabbed while walking down a Nashville street early Saturday morning.
It happened in the 200 block of West Trinity Lane near Waffle House around 12:30 a.m.
Metro police told News 2 the victim was walking when he got into a verbal altercation with a passerby who stopped and stabbed him in the chest.
The assailant drove away from the scene toward Interstate 40 in a white Honda.
The victim was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
No additional information was immediately released.
