Undercover officers arrest woman for shoplifting in Cool Springs

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Nashville woman was taken into police custody Thursday afternoon for shoplifting.

According to a release, police were called to the Cool Springs Target around 3:30 p.m.

Police said Deandrea Grace loaded a large Tupperware container with more than $1,000 in shoes, clothes and baby formula.

Undercover officer arrested Grace while she was loading the stolen merchandise into her car.

During their investigation, police said they identified the 25-year-old as the same woman who committed a similar theft at the same Target on September 9. In that incident, nearly $900 in store merchandise was taken.

She is charged with two counts of felony theft and is being held in the Williamson County jail on a $35,000 bond. She’s expected to appear in court next month.
