NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A south Nashville landmark business was damaged Tuesday night when a driver accidentally drove into the building.

It happened at Maxwell Brothers Produce in the 4600 block of Nolensville Road around 7 p.m.

The driver told Metro police he was trying to change gears when his Jeep took off. Rather than drive into Nolensville Road, he bailed into the produce shop.

No one was injured and the store was closed at the time of the crash.

The car clipped the building, struck a fence and crashed into a shelf of pumpkins.

No charges against the driver are expected to be filed.
