WOODBURY, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was charged Friday with the July murder of his brother in Cannon County.
Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reported 38-year-old Chad Young got into an argument with his brother Carl on July 10.
Chad fought physically and verbally with his brother and shot Carl while he was driving on Gunter Hollow Road in Woodbury, according to the TBI.
The bullet reportedly struck Carl, killing him and he wrecked the vehicle in a field.
A Cannon County grand jury returned indictments charging Chad with one count of second-degree murder and two counts of tampering with evidence.
He was booked into the Cannon County jail and is being held on a $250,000 bond.
