Young man wanted for robberies of 2 Nashville Game Stops

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro detectives are attempting to identify a young man suspected of robbing two Nashville-area video game stores.

Metro police reported the Game Stop located at 2086 North Gallatin Pike was robbed Wednesday night and the West End Avenue location was robbed on Sept. 14.

In the Madison robbery, the suspect entered the store around 5:10 a.m. and inquired about selling some electronic equipment.

During the transaction, the young man reportedly pulled out a gun and demanded money from the cash drawer. Police said the clerk complied and the suspect fled the business.

In the West End robbery, the suspect reportedly entered the store around 8:40 p.m. and browsed the merchandise until other customers left the store.

He approached the clerk and allegedly said he had a gun while demanded money from the drawer. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the scene.
