NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Samsung says nearly half of their recalled phones in the US have been returned.
The company recalled their Galaxy Note 7 after receiving 92 reports of batteries overheating, including 26 reports of burns and 55 of property damage, according to the website of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Samsung started its exchange program Wednesday.
According to the company, about 90 percent of their customers have opted to receive the new Galaxy Note 7.
