NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are investigating a crash involving a motorized wheelchair on Dickerson pike Thursday morning.
The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Dickerson Pike, just north of Spring Street. Click here for the News 2 Traffic Tracker.
Crews at the scene told News 2 a person was trying to cross the street in a motorized wheelchair when an SUV in the roadway attempted to avoid hitting them.
The SUV was unable to avoid the collision and clipped the wheelchair.
One person was transported from the scene with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
