Murfreesboro girl, 16, missing after jumping out of car

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – Murfreesboro police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who has been missing for more than two weeks.

According to a release from police, Brittany Barker was in DCS custody and was released to her mother to be taken to a Mt. Juliet facility when she jumped from the car and ran away on foot.

She has not been seen since.

Police said she could traveling to Hermitage.

Barker is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She also has pierced ears and Roman numeral tattoos on her forearm.
