NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Nashville State Community College is celebrating the addition of a new health and humanities building.
Known as “the H building,” it’s a state-of-the-art lab for the school’s nursing program that serves many purposes.
It also functions as an art space with two theaters—one 300-seat theater and a small black-box theater.
“Not only does this building now anchor our campus… but also it just explodes the possibilities for our students,” said Dr. Patricia Armstrong, Dean for English, Humanities, Arts and Languages at Nashville State.
Mayor Megan Barry also attended Tuesday’s grand opening and helped cut the ceremonial ribbon.
