Rep. McCormick won’t seek re-election as House Majority Leader

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Rep. Gerald McCormick (R – Chattanooga) won’t seek re-election into his role as the House Majority Leader.

Brent Leatherwood, Executive Director of the Tennessee Republican Party, confirmed the news Monday night.

McCormick is only stepping down from his position, not his seat.
