Funeral held for longtime Nashville businessman Miles Ezell Jr.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Funeral services were held for longtime Nashville businessman Miles Ezell Jr. Monday morning.

The service was held at Una Church of Christ on Murfreesboro Pike where the 89-year-old was a dedicated member.

Ezell, who worked more than 60 years at his father’s company, Purity Dairies, died last Thursday.

A Nashville native, Ezell graduated from Donelson High School In 1945 before serving in World War II and attending David Lipscomb University. He would ultimately receive a degree in dairy technology in 1950 from Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, four children, 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Lipscomb University, AGAPE and Una Church of Christ.
