FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two repeat DUI offenders were arrested over the weekend in Franklin, police said.
Police were called to the Wendy’s on Murfreesboro Road at 11:30 p.m. after a citizen reported a possible drunk driver in the parking lot.
Upon their arrival, officers found Michael Baugh parked with two of his truck wheels up on a curb.
According to a release, Baugh reportedly began driving away when officers approached.
Police said the 31-year-old man threatened to bite one of the arresting officers. He is charged with his second DUI offense and violation of the implied consent law.
He has since been released on a $3,500 bond.
In an unrelated incident on Sunday, a 33-year-old woman was also arrested for DUI after officer observed her driving erratically around 7:30 p.m. on Mallory Lane.
According to a release, Brianna Brock was involved in a head-on accident with another vehicle after turning onto Liberty Pike.
After stopping Brock, officers then determined she was impaired. While inspecting her vehicle, officers discovered the front bumper was missing.
Police later determined that prior to the accident and getting arrested, Brock allegedly ran over a sign and drove through the landscaping of a nearby CVS.
She was charged with her second DUI and has since been released on a $4,000 bond.
Both Baugh and Brock are scheduled to appear in court later this month.
