BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (WKRN) – The rain was coming down in Bowling Green, Ohio, but not even that could slow down I’Tavius Mathers.

In the Blue Raiders 41-21 win over Bowling Green, Mathers became the first MTSU player in school history to have over 100 yards rushing and receiving in a single game.

The senior running back had 157 yards on the ground, 103 yards receiving, and finished with 4 touchdowns.

The Blue Raiders trailed at two different points in the game but scored 27 unanswered points to put heir season record at 2-1.

Quarterback Brent Stockstill finished 18/30, 278 yards passing and 3 TD’s.
