MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) – An emotional and touching vigil was held Friday for a Mt. Juliet woman killed in a crash on Interstate 24 this week.

Carey Cunningham died Wednesday night when her car collided with a semi in Coffee County.

Her kids attend Mt. Juliet middle and high schools, and dozens of their classmates showed up at this vigil to remember her and support the family.

“She was the most amazing person. She saw the good in everybody,” said a friend, Staci Smith.

“Carrie had a heart of gold, the most fun person in any scenario,” said another friend, Melissa Legrand.

Friends of the family have set up GoFundMe account for her husband and kids to help with expenses. Click here to check it out.
