Police search for man who robbed Lebanon bank

LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Lebanon Police Department is searching for the man who robbed a bank Friday afternoon.

The incident started around 4 p.m. at the Cedarstone Bank at 900 West Main Street.

Authorities say a man approached a teller and dropped a handgun on the floor. He quickly grabbed the weapon and ran out the door.

About 10 minutes later, the suspect reportedly went down the street to Southern Bank and robbed it. He then took off in a dark, black or blue Dodge Charger that had a spoiler on the back.

The robber is described as a thin, light-skinned, black male wearing a gray T-shirt with “Nashville” written on it. He also had light-colored athletic shorts and a black hat worn backwards.

The man appeared to have a painted on and/or attached fake beard.
