NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A major assessment of two of Nashville’s premier sports and entertainment complexes was discussed Thursday.

The Metro Sports Authority brought it up in their board meeting, saying it would help understand the current conditions and future needs of both Nissan Stadium and Bridgestone Arena.

The assessment would be completed by Venture Solutions Group, a company that analyzes and evaluates sports facilities across the country.

According to the sports authority, Venture Solutions has a very high standing and is known for their work—and they’re also local with their headquarters based in Brentwood.

Their work is reportedly very comprehensive. During assessments, they take a look at everything, including but not limited to: architecture, major systems, mechanical, plumbing, engineering, entertainment, food and service concessions, elevators, escalators, and roofing.

Venture Solutions would function as subcontractor for Commonwealth Development Group, a project management contractor, under its current contracts with Metro-Nashville.

The assessment would cost about $355,000.
