MNPD headquarters to move temporarily to Lebanon Pike

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Metro Nashville Police Department headquarters are moving this weekend into temporary office space.

The new location is 3055 Lebanon Pike, and the move is planned for this weekend and Monday.

The existing Metro justice center on James Robertson Parkway in downtown Nashville will soon be torn down an rebuilt as a new jail.

A new police headquarters building will be constructed in the 600 block of Murfreesboro Pike on land that once housed the Capitol Chevrolet/Carl Black Chevrolet dealership.
