Burglars bust into AT&T through nail salon’s wall in Cool Springs

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — Franklin police are investigating the burglary of an AT&T store in Cool Springs.

The burglary is believed to have occurred at 4:30 a.m. but was discovered at 8 a.m. Wednesday as store employees arrived for work at the 3021 Mallory Lane.

Franklin police said the suspects pried open the front door of a nail salon next to the AT&T store. Once inside, they used tools to to bust through a shared wall between the businesses.

Store surveillance showed three masked suspects damaging the inside of the business, breaching doors, breaking cameras, and “working together to pull off what appears to have been a highly-planned burglary,” according to police.

The suspects stole dozens of smartphones, tablets, and other items were stolen, totaling an estimated loss of $10,000.

Anyone who may have seen something suspicious around that time is asked to contact Franklin police. A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information, by calling Crime Stoppers at 615-794-4000.
