NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Nashville Sounds are in the playoffs for the first time in nine years!

Game 3 of the American Conference Finals will be at First Tennessee Park Friday night against the Oklahoma City Dodgers.

The best-of-five series is tied 1-1 with the Sounds taking the first win Wednesday night and Dodgers the second on Thursday.

Friday night’s game will be special with dueling pianos performing before and during the game. Fans can request any of their favorite songs.

The Goodlettsville All-Stars are also being honored before the game after becoming the country’s runner-up in the Little League World Series. Click here for complete coverage of their journey.

“Well, you want to talk about success. I mean, these kids go out and work their way through all the different levels they’ve got to accomplish. We’re just at the first level. They went through several levels to get themselves to Williamsport and to represent the area so well. I think it’s a great idea and a great tribute to all the work they put in to all that,” said Sounds manager Steve Scarsone.

And as part of Marine Week this week, marines will present the colors and sing “The Star Spangled Banner.”

Tickers are still available online at and at the box office.

Nashville has not hosted a Pacific Coast League playoff game since the 2007 season, when the Sounds lost in the American Conference Finals to the New Orleans Zephyrs.
