NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was injured when he was shot in the leg while walking down an east Nashville street early Thursday morning.
The shots were fired on South Fourth Street between Fatherland Street and Shelby Avenue around 2:15 a.m.
The victim told Metro police he was walking on South Fourth Street when he heard the shots and discovered he had been shot in the leg.
At least three vehicles in the area were struck by bullets.
The man was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
No additional information was immediately released.
