OVERTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Four inmates who escaped the Overton County jail Wednesday night are now back in custody.

According to the sheriff, the inmates, Caleb Regan, Chadwin Greenwood, Peter McChesney and Jason Atnip, walked from the jail through a service door that leads to the attic. Once in the attic, the men made their way into the air conditioning unit line and got up on the roof.

One of the men fell after trying to jump from the roof. He is being treated for his injuries.

Atnip, who was jailed for theft at the time of his escape, remained on the loose for much of Thursday, but he was taken into custody by the afternoon.

Authorities said Reagan has previously escaped.
