Man wanted for Chattanooga double homicide turns himself in

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man recently added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Top Ten Most Wanted List turned himself in to authorities Wednesday morning.

Stephen Mobley, also known as “Dollar,” was wanted in connection to a deadly shooting that occurred on Monday in Chattanooga.

He faces two counts of first-degree murder, aggravated assault, one count of attempted first-degree murder and employment of a a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

Police said in a release that the shooting was reported Monday morning and officers responded to find a man and a woman dead at the scene. Another female victim was taken to a hospital. Her condition wasn’t available.

The two people who died were identified on Tuesday as 22-year-old Jasmine Hines and 23-year-old Rashaud Taylor. Police declined to release the name of the female who was hospitalized.
