NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A family is crediting their dog with alerting them after a fire broke out in their Bordeaux home Thursday morning.
The fire began at a home in the 1700 block of Windover Drive around 6:30 a.m.
The fire was concentrated to the home’s living room but the home is considered uninhabitable.
The husband and wife who own the home told News 2 their dog, Milo, woke them up to the fire before their smoke detectors went off.
The cause of the fire is under investigation but the family believes the cause is electrical.
The wife said Milo is their hero dog.
