North Nashville Jack in the Box robbed at gunpoint

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are investigating after a north Nashville fast food restaurant was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

It happened at the Jack in the Box on Dickerson Pike around 1:30 a.m.

Metro police reported two men came in the restaurant through the back door carrying weapons and wearing bandanas on their faces.

The pair made off with an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the store, according to officers at the scene.

Two employees were inside the store and one ran across the street to flag down an officer.

K-9 officers were called in to track down the suspects but were unsuccessful.

No suspect description was immediately released.
