NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Investigators believe a woman died while driving her pickup Monday morning, leading to a crash.

Police came across the scene just before 6 a.m. Monday on Highway 70 South between Belle Meade and Bellevue.

Officers broke the window in her pickup to check on her before realizing she was dead.

Investigators told News 2 they believe the woman died of a medical event, sending her car cruising across a turning lane and two lanes of traffic before coming to a rest against a guardrail.

Police do not suspect foul play.
