RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A Richmond, Virginia, family has just returned from a cross-country trip doing what they described as random acts of kindness.

The family runs a children’s clothing company called Rockin’ Baby.

For each item they sell, one is donated to a mother in need.

The family recently packed up in a modified school bus to travel and give away clothing to mothers and children at shelters across the country.

Their last stop on their trip was in Clendenin, West Virginia, where they gave clothing to families who lost everything after the historic flooding that happened there in June.
8News spoke with Rockin’ Baby CEO Kathryn Wiley.

“They didn’t know what to say … they were so thankful. They were thankful from the bottom of their hearts,” Wiley said. “But it was just a perfect fit, because we were so excited to be there.”

The family usually donates to mothers in other countries, but currently they are working on a plan to give in Richmond, Virginia.
