3 injured in head-on crash in Robertson County

CEDAR HILL, Tenn. (WKRN) – Three people were hospitalized after a head-on crash in Robertson County Sunday morning.

A car driven by 33-year-old Christopher Peters crested a hill on Barnes Road and started to cross into oncoming lanes of traffic, according to a report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

A second car driven by 61-year-old Horace Newberry tried to pull to the side of the road but was hit head-on by the first car.

Peters, Newberry and Peters’ passenger, 31-year-old Lacercia Hunt, were all taken to the hospital.

Hunt suffered critical injuries, while the other two suffered less serious injuries.

The report from Tennessee Highway Patrol shows charges against Peters are pending.
