NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment for a gunshot wound he suffered in east Nashville overnight.
Metro police told News 2 the man claimed two people were arguing near South 4th Street and Shelby Avenue just before midnight Sunday, when someone fired a gun, striking him in the leg.
The man’s story and the physical evidence at the crime scene don’t match up directly, according to police.
The man’s injuries weren’t believed to be life-threatening.
