NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Titans escaped Oakland Saturday night with a win and injury-free, but the same cannot be said for practice Monday where Kendall Wright aggravated a hamstring injury.
Head coach Mike Mularkey was hoping to get Wright back on the field in the Preseason finale in Miami Thursday night, but said he does not think Wright will be able to play.
Wright has missed every game of the preseason and Mularkey acknowledged it is frustrating.
Wright said he does not think the opener Sept. 11 against the Vikings is in doubt. He says he expects to be ready.
He’s coming off of a career low 36 catch season that saw him miss the end of the season with a sprained MCL.
