NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Thursday evening will be a big night on News 2 as the station investigates crime trends across Middle Tennessee.

The special will take a look at a wide range of topics, including sex trafficking, an influx of drugs passing through Middle Tennessee and how police communicate with local communities.

During the special, Reporter Larry Flowers will delve into three local cold cases that detectives refuse to give up on.

Anchor Bob Mueller will explore how Brentwood police use digital platforms to communicate with the community and keep citizens safe.

Reporter Joseph Pleasant will also look into a disturbing trend of predators turning to social media to lure teenage victims into human trafficking.
