NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A mother is making a desperate plea for help after a car hit and killed her daughter.
Vanessa Hall fell into the road on Clifton Avenue on Aug. 24. The driver of that car pulled over and called 911, but Hall didn’t make it.
“She never woke up after the accident,” Vanessa’s mother Mary Hall told News 2.
It was a phone call no parent wants to answer.
“Do you know how I feel as a parent, do you know how I feel as a parent?” Hall cries out in her west Nashville apartment.
Heartbroken, she described her first born as an outgoing woman that loved her family.
“She loved people, she was a kind soul and she was a giving soul. I’m going to miss her very much, I’m going to miss her very, very much.”
As the 68-year-old grandmother is trying to move forward while caring for two of the children her daughter left behind. She is asking for help.
“I need my child put in the ground, I would just like a decent burial for my child.”
Hall says she doesn’t have the means to cover her daughters funeral, as she didn’t have insurance.
