PORTLAND, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police are investigating more than half a dozen break-ins at a storage locker business in Portland, Tennessee.

The burglaries took place Sunday night when two suspects used power tools and hand tools to break into seven storage units at the L & L Mini-Storage on Old Highway 52.

They got away with a clothes dryer, a small ATV and some collectibles. Property was also damaged during the crimes.

Bill Lindsey, owner of the business, said crimes like that can be devastating for business.

At least one of the customers whose storage unite was burglarized has taken their business elsewhere.

“It won’t take but a few times and it’ll put a man out of business,” said Lindsey.

The thieves were caught on camera driving a silver or grey Nissan Xterra.

The vehicle was occupied by two white males, one with shoulder-length hair.

Anyone with information should call the Portland Police Department at 615-325-2061.
