CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Clarksville couple has been charged in the death of an infant in their care.
According to Clarksville Now, an August indictment charged James and Rachel Grohmann with the death of their child as the result of abuse and neglect.
The child allegedly suffered the abuse from the day it was born on Aug. 22, 2015 until Nov. 24, 2015.
A true bill from Montgomery County Circuit Court says the Grohmanns “unlawfully, intentionally, or knowingly did neglect/abuse/engage in criminally negligent conduct” which resulted in the death of the child.”
Both face two counts of aggravated child abuse and neglect and one count of criminally negligent homicide. They have a bond of $200,000 each.
