2 arrested for armed robbery in south Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two men were arrested in south Nashville early Wednesday morning for allegedly robbing two people at gunpoint.

It happened at Santorini Greek Restaurant on Murfreesboro Pike around 3 a.m.

Metro police told News 2 the suspects held two men at gunpoint and took their money before running into the nearby Horus Restaurant, where they tried to hide and blend in.

The victims were able to provide police with a good description of the suspects, leading officers to quickly locate them and take them into custody.

Officers told News 2 they will be both be charged with armed robbery.

No additional information was immediately released.
