LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two cars collided in Wilson County Tuesday morning, and one was carrying a one-week-old baby.
Officials say it happened as one car was traveling northbound and sideswiped another traveling south on Highway 109 near Tyree Access Road around 5 a.m.
Investigators believe the northbound driver crossed the center lane just before the wreck.
Family members showed up to help care for the infant, who was in a cad with two adults.
The other car was carrying one person. Luckily, no one was seriously hurt.
Authorities do not believe alcohol played a role in the crash.
Crews closed lanes of Highway 109 while they cleared the wreckage Tuesday morning.
