Nashville fire crews recover body from Cumberland River

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Nashville Fire Department has confirmed crews recovered a body from the Cumberland River near Nissan Stadium Tuesday morning.

On Monday, a search was suspended for the 38-year-old man who went under water on Sunday in that area near Riverfront Park.

The fire department says the body found matches the description of the missing swimmer. Metro police are working to positively identify the victim.
